I am also against big pharma, and big brother. Some people do experience significant withdrawal from Marijuana! My current research indicates that marijuana COULD be very mildly addicting physically, and quite addicting psychologically. Thus the majority of the withdrawal symptoms are psychologically based, which may trigger physical symptoms. Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, and loss of appetite are all possible for chronic, long term, heavy users of marijuana. If only 5% of users develop dependence, that is still a huge number of people when you consider how many new people try weed each year. My current research indicates that marijuana COULD be very mildly addicting physically, and quite addicting psychologically. Thus the majority of the withdrawal symptoms are psychologically based, which may trigger physical symptoms.

Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, and loss of appetite are all possible for chronic, long term, heavy users of marijuana.

If only 5% of users develop dependence, that is still a huge number of people when you consider how many new people try weed each year.
